Have you ever wanted a beaded zone with a thumb track? Honestly, I haven't, but when I picked one of these up at a tournament over the weekend I was intrigued. The Copperhead I picked up was in the Victor 2 plastic which is stiff but grippy and even in the bitter cold felt great in the hand. It is shallower than the Zone, which tends to be a positive for me. Since the release of the Copperhead, I have wanted to get a hold of one. The flight numbers of the Copperhead are 3 4 0 2, positioning it as a slightly less stable zone. Whether it is the V2 plastic, the bead, or the thumb track, this disc currently has my full attention. After giving this disc a throw it immediately made it into my bag. Dead straight, torque resistant, and reliable fade make this disc a no brainer. It may lose its slot to a zone or tempo come the spring, but at this moment the Copperhead is becoming my go to approach disc. Lonestar has definitely put a good foot forward with this one.
