2 rounds into Branduary and I can honestly say I am quickly falling in love with this bag. Round 1 on the 1st was a windy round of 18 at Falling Creek Park in Bedford, Va. I had concerns about the stability in my bag but was pleasantly suprised when nothing turned or burned over. I went 6 down which is close to what I've shot with my tournament bags in the past, and can definitely credit the success to the A3 and Pa-3. Round 2 was a quick 9 after work at one of the shorter courses in Roanoke, Va. Three down through 9 is far from my best there but definitely not terrible for an after work quickie. Some favorites are definitely emerging. The Pa-3 has been in my bag in the past but never for more than a couple weeks. Right now it feels right and I'm struggling to remember why I never committed to it. It's a very reliable putter on the green and off the tee. Clean flight with just enough finish to maintain my trust. The A3 is an incredible disc, I find myself wondering why it isn't more popular, it feels to me like cross between a zone and roc3 and has become my go-to approach disc. The hands down workhorse in this new bag has been a 700 spectrum F5, I cannot attest to its consistency as I am also bagging a 500 F5 and they are quite different. The 500 does what I expect a 7,5,-2,1 disc to do, the 700 on the other hand reminds me of my stable craves and would say it flys like a 7, 5,-1,1. It can handle every bit of power I throw at it but never turns over. It casually flips up and cruises 400ft with consistency and control. The last disc I have to mention is the M4. I have heard the raving and can say, it is all true. I am bagging one in 500 and one in chalky 400 and they are money. They fly dead true to numbers and can be shaped to hit any line. I find myself reaching for them much more often than I expected to, as they just seem to be point and shoot discs for both backhand and forehand shots.
